LUG representatives are taking part in the India Economic Summit 2019 held on October 3rd and 4th in New Delhi, India
The India Economic Summit (IES), organized by the World Economic Forum is one of the key events focused on India which is the world’s fastest-growing large economy. This year’s 33rd edition of the IES will gather more than 800 leaders of business, politics, academia and civil society from 40 countries for a two-day meeting in New Delhi.
The event’s agenda will focus on facilitating the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in India in order to assist the country in reaching an advanced stage of development. The programme will also include sessions on how to shape India’s new ecological system with topics such as food security, environment and climate change in the centre of its attention as well as the country’s new social system targeting issues like inequality, inclusive growth and health.
Although IES will mostly focus on India and the importance of South Asia, it will also highlight the relevance of ASEAN countries and the role both regions play in the global economy.
The India Economic Summit 2019 is another in a series of events that LUG is taking part in as a Member of the World Economic Forum.
