We are pleased to inform, that The Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Luslawice, illuminated by LUG luminaires, was awarded by SARP (Polish Association of Architects) on 26/05/2014 and received both, Prize of the Year and the Prize of Polish Association of Architects for the Best Architectonic Object built with the usage of public funds in 2012 under the honorary patronage of Polish President.

Centre is the first this type place of music talents development. The complex comprises a concert hall for 650 spectators alongside an academic facility of exercises rooms for music and ballet, seminar rooms and a library. LUG Light Factory provided bespoke LED fixtures to provide a stylish, energy-smart lighting solution.

Justification of the award: At the junction of the nature and culture of the place came into Europe, rooted in local tradition, inscribed in the picturesque landscape of Malopolska. Timeless patterns and natural materials make an object noble and sincere. The inner courtyard creates a unique atmosphere that is conducive to the organization of outdoor events.The concert hall, creates harmony of shape, material, color and sound. Architecture devoid of pathos perfectly affects the music, focuses artists and the local community. Project was prepared by DDJM design office from Krakow.
