LUG at the Sustainable Development Impact Summit 2019
24 September 2019
LUG delegates are taking part in the Sustainable Development Impact Summit held in New York on September 23-24.
Held in parallel with the UN General Assembly, Sustainable Development Impact Summit (SDI) each year gathers in New York more than 1,000 leaders of business, politics and academia. The event organised by the World Economic Forum aims at promoting best practices in public-private partnership, systems thinking and use of 4th Industrial Revolution technologies for sustainable development.
Delegates to the event will take part in a series of sessions on topics including limiting the negative impact on environment and financing sustainable development projects. Thus, SDI creates a platform for knowledge and experience exchange as well as cooperation of a wide range of stakeholders aiming at reaching UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainable Development Impact Summit 2019 is another in a series of events that LUG is taking part in as a Member of the World Economic Forum. LUG joined the World Economic Forum, the leading international organization for public-private cooperation committed to improving the state of the world, as a Forum Member in January 2019.
