LUG as a Poland Pavilion Partner at EXPO 2020 in Dubai

The World Exhibition EXPO 2020 has started in October. The theme of this edition is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.

The World Exhibition EXPO 2020 has started in October. The theme of this edition is  “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The event will last until March 31st, 2022. The Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2020 in Dubai is the place for a multidimensional presentation of Poland. On 2,000 m2, over the next 6 months, nearly a thousand different events will be held with the participation of approx. 2,500 Polish companies. The main theme is “Poland. Creativity inspired by nature”. 

As part of the Partnership Program implemented with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, we focused on the safety of people in the Pavilion and provided this unique facility with professional UV-C luminaires for sterilization of rooms and protection against viruses, PURELIGHT LUG FLOW. These solutions effectively protect both the visitors and the Pavilion staff against potentially dangerous micro-organisms, which is currently extremely important, especially in context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is worth mentioning that our involvement was not limited to the Partner Program. In the pavilion, you can see CALIBRO and VOLICA luminaires from our portfolio of modern, energy-saving interior lighting solutions, which we delivered as part of our cooperation with the Pavilion's contractor. 

 The Polish Pavilion from the very beginning has aroused great interest. There was among 17 best pavilions awarded at EXPO 2020 out of over 200 available to visitors, promoting the cultural heritage and economic potential of countries. The Poland Pavilion is to inspire and share with the world solutions for a conscious, sustainable future. Sustainable LUG lighting fully fits into this concept. 

EXPO 2020 exhibition is unique in many aspects. For the first time is held in the Middle East region. It is expected that attracts up to 18 million visitors, becoming the largest and most important promotional and cultural event in the world. The whole world in one place and a great opportunity to strengthen the power of Polish entrepreneurship and our business on foreign markets.
