We are opening a representative office in Morocco

14 febrero 2022

Today, 14 February, we opened a sales representative office in Morocco

During the ongoing visit of our representatives in Morocco, an opening event of the company’s local representative office was held. The office will function under the name LUG Maroc.

In addition to opening of the representative office, during their stay in Morocco, our representatives will hold a series of meetings with stakeholders from the local public and private sector. Among the priorities during the trip are meetings with representatives of cities contemplating launching projects of modernization of public lighting with the use of energy efficient LED solutions. Thanks to the solutions offered by our company, cities can significantly improve the energy efficiency of their public lighting infrastructure, reduce emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere and improve overall safety what can result in the improvement of living standards of their citizens.

Opening of LUG’s representative office in Morocco and the continuation of our talks with local stakeholders are our next steps towards increasing our share in this market. We have been active in the Kingdom of Morocco for a few years already. We have a positive opinion about the growth potential of this market and the projects we have carried out with our local partners so far prove that our solutions are attractive to local private sector stakeholders and at the same time are well in line with the needs and plans for modernization and development of public lighting infrastructure in the country. I am certain that our increased presence in the market will bring positive effects to our further development in Morocco itself as well as the whole North African region – says Ryszard Wtorkowski, President of Board at LUG Light Factory.

The opening of a representative office in Morocco is a next step in strengthening our active presence in the North African region, where we have already completed a number of successful lighting projects, including the modernisation of street lighting in the city of Meknes in Morocco, the lighting of public spaces in Casablanca or the comprehensive lighting for the New Cairo City project in Egypt.
