LUG will increase its presence in South America

Our Board made the decision to establish a subsidiary in Argentina

LUG S.A. Board made the decision to establish a subsidiary in the Argentine Republic. The new company will operate under the name LUG Argentine.

Four years after establishing LUG do Brazil, LUG S.A.’s subsidiary in Brazil, our Board decided to open another company in South America, this time in Argentina.

- The decision to establish a subsidiary in Argentina was a natural consequence of our plans for business development in Sourth America. Brazil is not the only market we want to develop and carry out interesting lighting projects in. Our experneces in international markets show that our products are very well perceived and the share of exports in our revenues continues growing – says the President of LUG S.A., Ryszard Wtorkowski

LUG Argentina will be the fifth foreign subsidiary within LUG S.A. Capital Group. The company’s activeness in international markets is clearly reflected in its financial results – after the first two quarters of this year, 56,5% of our revenues come from exports.

- We are a Polish family company with international ambitions. With the global markets getting flooded by low quality Chinese products, our luminaires’ European origin ant the financial stability, quality and innovativeness behind LUG are appreciated throughout the world. This additionally stimulates the growth of our international sales and fuels our international development – adds Ryszard Wtorkowski. 

Before LUG Argentina starts its operations, our company will have to undergo a lengthy process of registering the new company.

- We are working on the details. The law and tax regulations in Argentina are much more complicated than those in Europe, therefore the registration process takes more time than a similar procedure in Poland our Western Europe. It is too early to give any specifics at the moment – Ryszard Wtorkowski explains.

 LUG Light Factory is a leading European manufacturer of lighting luminaries with 25 years of experience. The company operates in the professional lighting sector, specializing in the production of professional lighting solutions for indoor and outdoor illumination of public utility buildings as well as industrial and architectural objects.
