Due to the current situation caused by the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which involves a number of travel restrictions and a ban on the organization of mass events, Messe Frankfurt - light + building organizer - decided to cancel this year's edition of this event. It is a decision made primarily because of the safety all people taking part in the fair.

At the same time, the organizers inform that the next edition of light + building will take place as per the usual two-year cycle of the event’s organisation, i.e. from March 13-18, 2022.

Light + building is the leading event in lighting industry not only in Europe, but in the world. The previous edition was visited by over 200 000 people, who had the opportunity to discover the trends presented at almost 3 000 stands.
