ISO Certificates

At LUG, we do focus on product quality and process efficiency.

For years, we have been relentless in our pursuit of perfection. This is reflected in the ISO certificates we hold, awarded by independent certification bodies. Over the years, we have successfully obtained following: PN ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management system), 9001:2015 (quality management system); 50001:2018 (energy management system) and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety management system) for our two LUG Light Factory facilities located in Zielona Góra, Poland. Each year, we are also subject to recertification audits, during which our activities in individual areas are verified and analysed in detail.

In addition to the above certificates, in 2018 we received a statement of conformity to DIN ISO 17025:2018 for our professional R&D laboratory in Nowy Kisielin, Zielona Góra, Poland receiving recognition from TUV SUD Polska to perform photometric, thermal, leakage, colorimetric and electrical tests.

We also set a good example for the LUG S.A. Capital Group companies by receiving the ISO 9001:2015 (quality management system) obtained by one of our companies, LUG Argentina SA, operating in Argentina.

1.

WHAT ARE ISO CERIFICATES?

ISO certifications do confirm that an organisation, product, service or system meets the quality and performance requirements set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). ISO is an independent organisation that develops international standards in various fields.

2.

WHO IS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE ISO CERTIFICATE?

ISO certificates are awarded to organisations, products, services or systems that undergo a certification process carried out by external certification bodies. These bodies assess whether an organisation, product, service or system meets the criteria set out by the relevant ISO standard. ISO does not certify or issue certificates.

3.

WHAT DO THE CERTIFICATES PROVE AND WHAT DO THEY MEAN IN REALITY?

ISO certification confirms that an organisation, product, service or system complies with international quality and performance standards. In practice, this means that the organisation, product, service or system is reliable, safe, efficient and sustainable. ISO certification can be a useful tool to increase competitiveness, reduce costs and risks, increase credibility, improve customer satisfaction, and meet legal or contractual requirements.
